A Michigan public school employee resigned and six teachers were disciplined after they were reportedly caught on video at a local restaurant naming students during a game of “marry, f***, kill.”

A video posted on YouTube Monday showed seven Bangor Public Schools faculty and staff sitting around a table at the Bangor Tavern Bar and Grill, joking about the students and staff whom they’d marry, have sex with, or kill, ABC News affiliate WZZM reported.

The teachers discussed several students in detail, including some with special needs, EAGNews.org reported.

“It was heartbreaking,” said Amanda Reprogal, whose 15-year-old son, Treyson, was reportedly mentioned in the video. “My heart sank, and I was disgusted.”

Many outraged parents attended a regularly scheduled school board meeting Monday night to demand that the teachers be fired.

“It’s disturbing to know that these are our educators,” parent Jennifer Prentice told a local Fox News affiliate. “They are in charge of protecting our children, keeping our children safe, and the fact that they just blew that out of the water shows their character and shows that maybe they’re not right for this job.”

An employee reportedly seen in the video, secretary to the superintendent Patti Waite, has resigned. Two teachers were also suspended and four other teachers were verbally reprimanded for their involvement, WZZM reported.

“We made our best assessment based on the facts, and reasonable minds can differ about things,” school district attorney Robert Huber told Fox. “This is our thought on what was best under the circumstances.”

Mr. Huber said the two teachers who were suspended are now on a probationary period.

“We’re going to be following up and monitoring how these teachers do,” he said. “I think they’ve learned their lesson from all this.”
