BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Fans of minor league baseball in Buffalo will have to pass through metal detectors to get into the ballpark this season.

The Buffalo Bisons announced enhanced security measures on Monday that will take effect on Opening Day, April 6.

Walk-through metal detectors will be in place at all entrances to Coca-Cola Field. There will be no re-entry to the park for fans who leave to smoke or for other reasons.

The team says the changes are being made to ensure visitors can enjoy the atmosphere.
