HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) - A certified nursing assistant who was accused of sexually attacking female patients at an Oregon hospital has pleaded guilty.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says Adeladilew Mekonen entered the plea Friday after reaching a deal with prosecutors. The terms call for him to be sentenced next week to 25 years in prison.
Mekonen was fired from Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in September after his arrest. Nine women between the ages of 27 and 94 accused him of abuse.
