BEAVER, Pa. (AP) - A man has refused to testify in his co-defendant’s retrial in the shooting death of a western Pennsylvania woman and her unborn child more than four years ago.

Beaver County authorities said 19-year-old, were killed in October 2012 by two men trying to rob her boyfriend.

Thirty-one-year-old Marlin Kelly was originally sentenced to consecutive life terms but won a new trial. Thirty-five-year-old Tyrone Fuller pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and got 13 to 30 years.

The Beaver County Times (https://bit.ly/2l6layp ) reports that Fuller took the stand Friday and refused to testify against Kelly. His attorney said earlier that Fuller had expressed concern about his family’s safety. The judge told him that refusing to testify could lead to a perjury charge.
