MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A house fire has claimed a man’s life in Montgomery County.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Capt. Trent Beasley says the blaze was reported shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday on Robinson Road.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports (https://on.mgmadv.com/2mbMcBU ) that the home burned for about three and a half hours, though the fire was mostly out after the first hour.

Officials were not releasing the dead man’s name until his family is been notified.

The Alabama State Fire Marshall’s office is investigating the cause.
