RAEFORD, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a husband and wife were both severely burned after an argument between them led to a fire in their Raeford home.

Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin told The Fayetteville Observer (https://bit.ly/2meRn4k ) that deputies are still trying to determine how the fire started.

Peterkin says 47-year-old Latroy Waller and 25-year-old Mamie Waller are in critical condition at a burn center in Chapel Hill.

The sheriff did not release any details about the couple’s argument.
