MORRILTON, Ark. (AP) - Police in Morrilton say a 49-year-old Bryant man has died in a parachuting incident.
Morrilton police say Brick Smith was killed Sunday afternoon while parachuting on private property near the town’s municipal airport, about 35 miles northwest of Little Rock.
Police, along with the Federal Aviation Administration, are investigating the incident. Authorities have not yet said what led to Smith’s death, only that it happened while he was parachuting.
