PHOENIX (AP) - Police have identified a man and woman found dead inside a south Phoenix home in an apparent murder-suicide.

The couple’s children reported hearing gunfire during an argument between their mother and her husband about 10 p.m. Monday.

Phoenix police say the victim is 33-year-old Iveth Susana Chavez and the suspect is 34-year-old Oliver Olague-Acosta.

Authorities say Olague-Acosta was the biological father of two of the children and stepfather to the other two.

Police say their investigation is continuing. No others details were immediately released Tuesday.

Officers responding to a call of unknown trouble at the home arrived to find the four children coming out of the home.

The bodies of Chavez and Olague-Acosta were then discovered inside the house.

The children weren’t injured and were placed with local family members.
