BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - Police say two men are accused of using a stolen U-Haul truck to steal motorcycles from a Biloxi business.
The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2lyRKYl ) that the Suzuki City Kawasaki was burglarized early Wednesday.
Biloxi police Lt. Christopher De Back said two men were seen loading a U-Haul truck with four motorcycles.
A short time later, the U-Haul - which had been stolen in New Orleans - was spotted on Interstate 10 in Biloxi. Police said the suspects bailed out and ran into the woods, but were later captured.
Police filed charges of burglary, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest against 25-year-old Brandon Macklin Soublet; and 30-year-old Brandon Jermey Johnson, both of Louisiana. It wasn’t known early Thursday whether the men have attorneys who could comment on their behalf.
