CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a person found in a roadway in the Charlotte area.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police tell local media outlets that a man’s body was found on Interstate 85 at around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim’s name has not been released. Investigators say there may have been a fight near the road before the man was struck by one or more vehicles.
Authorities haven’t made any arrests or released further details.
