SMITHFIELD, N.C. (AP) - A second person man has been charged in the 2015 shooting death of a Princeton man.

Local media outlets report 24-year-old Dontrell Khali McDonald was arrested early Thursday and charged with murder in the death of Adolphus Ramon Bryant.

Bryant was found shot behind a Smithfield building in September 2015. He died at a nearby hospital.

Authorities haven’t released details on any possible motive or a connection between the two men.

McDonald was being held without bond in the Johnston County jail. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.

McDonald’s is the second arrest in the case. Several weeks after Bryant’s death, 37-year-old Tina Louise Byrd was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
