BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (AP) - A flooding warning is in effect along the Bear River in northern Utah.

The National Weather Service says the warning will be in effect until late Sunday night from below the Cutler Dam at Cutler Reservoir to the Great Salt Lake.

The weather service says the river is slightly above flood stage below the Cutler Dam and is expected to crest Saturday evening and then fall below flood stage by Sunday evening.

According to the weather service, areas expected to be affected include campgrounds next to the river as well as ranches, farms and roadways.

The American Red Cross says people affected by recent flooding can get assistance from caseworkers at the Garland City Hall late Saturday afternoon and early evening.
