Former water department workers indicted for embezzlement

WAYNESBORO, Miss. (AP) - Two former Waynesboro water department are indicted on embezzlement charges.

WDAM-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2mu9Cm8 ) that Shirley Ann Harris and Gloria Cooley were each charged with six counts of embezzlement Friday.

Circuit Court Judge Justin Cobbs set bail for both women at $30,000. Wayne County jail administrators say both Harris and Cooley posted bail around noon.
