COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Police have charged a second suspect with robbing and killing a man at a Columbia apartment earlier this month.

Local media outlets report that Raheem Thomas was arrested Sunday on murder and armed robbery charges for the Feb. 17 death of 30-year-old James Grant. He died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police arrested 21-year-old Daquan McCoy last week on the same charges.

Authorities accuse Grant and Thomas of robbing Grant after going to an apartment complex to sell a car. Investigators say the shooting occurred during the robbery.

Both Thomas and McCoy are in the Richland County jail. It’s unclear whether they have attorneys.
