JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (AP) - The district attorney and coroner have been investigating the death of a standout wrestler in his dormitory on the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown campus.

Cambria County Coroner Jeffrey Lees says 23-year-old Nicholas Roberts was found unresponsive in his dormitory apartment about 9:15 p.m. Saturday.

Foul play is not suspected, but toxicology and other tests needed to pinpoint a cause of death will take weeks to complete.

Roberts starred at North Star High School in nearby Boswell, where he was a three-time state champion before wrestling at Ohio State.

Roberts left that school after his freshman year and continued wrestling at Pitt-Johnstown, where he was an NCAA Division II national champion last year. His career was cut short due to a knee injury, however.
