MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man struck and killed by a suspected drunken driver in a hit-and-run crash in Missoula.

The Missoulian reports (https://bit.ly/2lZbuq2) that 31-year-old Benno Bigback Jr. of Missoula died from injuries he sustained in the Friday night crash.

Emily Bess Levens faces charges of vehicular homicide while under the influence and failing to stop at a scene where a person was killed. Bail was set Monday at $50,000 during her initial court appearance.

Court records show a witness called 911 after hearing a crash outside her home and seeing Bigback’s body in the street and a woman standing over him.

The witness reported that the woman fled after she told her she was going to call the authorities.

Officers later tracked down Levens.
