CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - The Hornets have signed center Mike Tobey and guard Ray McCallum to 10-day contracts.

The moves were announced Friday, one day after Charlotte shipped centers Roy Hibbert and Spencer Hawes to Milwaukee in exchange for center Miles Plumlee.

Tobey joins the Hornets from the team’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm. The 7-0 Tobey has appeared in 29 games with 19 starts for Greensboro in his first D-League season and is averaging 11 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 26 minutes per game.

The 6-3 McCallum has appeared in 30 games for the D-League’s Grand Rapids Drive, averaging 18.2 points, 7.5 assists, and six rebounds in 38 minutes per game. McCallum was the 36th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings.
