NORWALK, Calif. (AP) - Los Angeles County authorities are investigating the death of a bleeding man who ran into a Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant and collapsed in front of dozens of families.

KABC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2kaiqwI) authorities have not released information on what may have caused the man’s death Saturday in Norwalk.

Witnesses tell the news station the man had blood on his hands as he ran toward the restaurant’s bathroom. Authorities were called and as deputies brought the man outside, he collapsed. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Witnesses say about 300 people were held at the restaurant for a few hours while sheriff’s investigators collected evidence and talked to witnesses.

The investigation continues Sunday.
