CHELSEA, Mass. (AP) - Police are investigating after a man in his 30s was severely injured in a baseball bat attack over the weekend in suburban Boston.
Chelsea officers were dispatched to the area of Congress Avenue and Shurtleff Street around 7:45 a.m. Saturday following reports of the assault.
The unnamed victim was rushed from the scene to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he remains listed in serious condition.
The bat was later found in a trash container nearby.
Police are still searching for the suspect, who has been described as a black male in his 30s who is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket.
