SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Salt Lake City police have arrested a suspect in a robbing and stabbing at a downtown apartment that left a 53-year-old man in critical condition.

Police say they responded to a report of a man being robbed at knifepoint at about 4:20 a.m. Monday at an apartment about a mile west of the state capital at 204 W. 200 North.

They say the victim was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds to his neck and back.



Police located one of two persons of interest in the case Monday night and still are searching for the other one.

KSL-TV reports (https://tinyurl.com/hzf3for) one person has been arrested, but it’s not clear if it was one of the people of interest.

No names have been released.
