ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Athens-Clarke County police say Crimestoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect in an incident that left another man shot multiple times.

Police are looking for 33-year-old Demarquemis Dieon Williams. The Athens-Banner Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2kUorRq ) an argument last week over drugs reportedly preceded the shooting in which 20-year-old Johntavis Hull was hurt. Authorities say he underwent successful emergency surgery and is recovering.

Police say Williams allegedly was shooting at Hull while chasing him through a small neighborhood of duplex apartments. An occupied home and cars were struck by gunfire.

Upon arrest, Williams will face several charges including aggravated assault.
