GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - Victor Sanders scored 25 points and Brayon Blake had 16 points on 7-for-10 shooting and Idaho beat Northern Colorado 88-76 on Thursday night.

Idaho (13-10, 8-4 Big Sky) shot 32 for 60 (53.3 percent) from the floor including 13 for 27 (48) from the 3-point arc. The Vandals moved into a third-place tie with Eastern Washington (16-9, 8-4) which lost to North Dakota 95-86 Thursday night.

Blake’s layup gave the Vandals a 21-11 lead with 12:04 before halftime. Chaz Glotta’s layup brought Northern Colorado to within 25-20, but the Vandals went on an 18-9 run and led 43-29 at halftime. The Vandals led for 39 minutes on the night.



Sanders’ jumper with 15:38 remaining put Idaho on top 60-35.

DJ Miles led Northern Colorado (8-15, 4-8) with 30 points, Jordan Davis scored 21, and Chaz Glotta finished with 17 for the Bears.
