MOORESVILLE, N.C. (AP) - A toddler has died several days after falling into Lake Norman near Mooresville.
Local media outlets reported Thursday the 19-month-old boy Charlotte has died after being hospitalized Saturday afternoon.
The boy’s name has not yet been released.
Iredell County Sheriff’s Maj. Andy Poteat says there were four children and five adults at the home when family members noticed the boy was missing. Family members found him in the water.
The sheriff’s office is investigating. No other details were immediately available.
