VINELAND, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a 16-year-old boy found shot at a Cumberland County apartment complex remains hospitalized in critical condition.

But a motive for the shooting at the Vineland Village Apartments has not been disclosed.

Police officers responding to reports of a gunshot victim found the teen around 9 p.m. Friday at the nearby Walnut Villas Apartments. But they soon determined that the boy had been shot at the Vineland Village Apartments and then ran to the other complex.



The teen was flown to a hospital and underwent surgery. His name has not been released and further details about his injuries have not been disclosed.

No arrests have been made.
