COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - The Latest on an apparent triple murder and suicide in Colorado Springs (all times local):

8:30 p.m.

Authorities say four people, including two young children, were found dead of an apparent triple murder and suicide at a home in Colorado Springs.

The Gazette reports (https://goo.gl/V3hy2T ) 5-year-old Laela Badillo, 8-year-old Rodolfo Badillo Jr. and 26-year-old Lucero Castillo died of gunshot wounds, and their deaths have been ruled homicides. Police suspect 29-year-old Rodolfo Alcantara, the fourth person found dead in the home, shot himself after killing the other three victims.

Police Lt. Howard Black says the bodies were found Tuesday night when officers were asked to do a welfare check at a home. He did not say how the four were related. No other details were released.

Neighbor Frances Bonilla, whose 8-year-old child played at the home, says they “looked like a nice little family,” making the news of the deaths all the more shocking.


8:20 a.m.

Colorado Springs police say four people were found dead in a home on Tuesday evening.

Police haven’t said how the man, woman and two children died but say there’s no danger to the public.
