GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Greensboro police say a man jailed on larceny-related charges is now accused in connection with a shooting death last August.

A statement from the Greensboro Police Department says 29-year-old Ismiles Geraude Williams was served with a first-degree murder warrant. Williams is accused in the fatal shooting of 59-year-old Sharon Kay Little on Aug. 22. He remains in the Guilford County jail and is being held without bond.

Spokeswoman Susan Danielsen said Friday that Little was found unresponsive in her vehicle after it crashed on a local street. Officers responding to the scene discovered Little had been shot in her upper body. She was taken to Moses Cone Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Danielsen said detectives are continuing their investigation, and they believe other people may be involved.
