NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a woman’s leg and torso were found at a garbage transfer station in the Bronx.
Workers made the discovery at the Metropolitan Transfers Station in Hunts Point just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Police are searching the facility to see if other body parts can be located.
The victim’s identity or age has not been released.
The medical examiner is to determine the exact cause of death.
