WASHINGTON (AP) - Police and witnesses say gunfire outside a Washington apartment complex has left a 68-year-old woman in a wheelchair dead.
According to the Washington Post (https://wapo.st/2ixSb71 ), two people exchanged gunfire Monday morning outside the southeast D.C. apartment building, and two people were struck.
Police say one victim was a man whose injuries weren’t life-threatening. The other was Vivian Marrow, a mother and grandmother who had to use a wheelchair since she was hit by a car at least a decade ago, according to the newspaper.
She was taken to a hospital, where she died.
Police said that they weren’t sure what led to the gunfight and that they had received conflicting reports about descriptions of suspects.
