Many residents of Maine and New Hampshire are dealing with up to 6 inches of snowfall.

A storm started late Tuesday and was weakening Wednesday morning.

Meteorologist James Brown says the coastal storm will head out to sea before causing heavier accumulations or spreading in to western New Hampshire and northern Maine.

The heaviest snow ended before dawn, but made for a messy commute.

A light coating of snow on Interstate 89 northbound near South Burlington, Vermont, led to a jack-knifed tractor trailer tractor trailer.
