JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say stray bullets struck a New Jersey Transit bus as it traveled through Jersey City, shattering at least one bus window.

None of the 25 passengers aboard the bus were injured in the shooting that occurred around 7 p.m. Tuesday. But the bus driver was treated at a hospital after he was struck by the shattered glass.

A city spokeswoman says that shortly after the shooting occurred, a man who wasn’t a passenger on the bus was found a few blocks away with a foot injury and a graze wound that may be related to the bus shooting. He was treated at a hospital but has declined to cooperate with investigators.

Authorities say it doesn’t seem that the shooter targeted the bus, but the investigation is ongoing.
