HOUSTON, Miss. (AP) - A man died has after he fell from a Mississippi airport tower.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal (https://bit.ly/2iXm66Q ) reports that an unidentified man climbed a light and antenna tower at Houston Municipal Airport early Thursday morning.

Authorities talked to the man for about 30 minutes before he fell to the ground. The man survived the fall but was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Chickasaw County Coroner Michael Fowler says the man was in his 30s.

Sheriff James Meyers declined to provide a motive for the man’s actions.
