PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police are looking for three people who tied up an employee and a customer of a consignment shop in Philadelphia’s Manayunk section and stole about $10,000 in merchandise.

The robbery at Remix Designer Consignment was first reported around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the incident began when one suspect armed with a silver handgun entered the store, bound the employee and customer with zip ties and forced them into a dressing room.

The victims told police the man then shut off the lights and two more suspects entered. The robbers ransacked the shop, stealing expensive fur coats and other clothes as well as $200 from the cash register.

Police say the robbery was unusual because it occurred during rush hour in a crowded shopping district.
