SPRINGFIELD, Vt. (AP) - Authorities say an animal hospital in Springfield caught fire, but that everyone made it out safely.

The fire broke out at the Springfield Animal Hospital on Thursday night.

The Rutland Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2jfvtg3 ) three men who were driving by stopped to help and said they saw two women removing animals from their kennels.

Firefighters were able to swiftly bring the blaze under control. Fire officials say all the animals were safely evacuated.
