DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio man accused of causing the death of a 6-week-old girl has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and child endangering charges.

Montgomery County’s prosecutor says 21-year-old Sharon Hancock, of Dayton, entered the plea Thursday in the 2015 death of his girlfriend’s daughter, Alisa Albarracin.

The baby’s mother called 911 on Oct. 30, 2015, to report that her daughter was having difficulty breathing. The infant was taken to a hospital suffering from cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest.

A statement from Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. says the infant died nine days later from injuries she suffered through Hancock’s actions. The prosecutor didn’t provide any additional details.

A message seeking comment was left with Hancock’s attorney.

Hancock is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 1.
