ATTICA, Iowa (AP) - Marion County sheriff’s officials say two people injured in a fire at an automotive business south of Attica in south-central Iowa are expected to recover.
Des Moines television station KCCI reports that the fire was reported around 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lambirth Enterprises. The Marion County sheriff tells KCCI that one of the people injured was taken to Knoxville Hospital and later transported to University of Iowa Hospital burn unit, where the person was in stable condition Wednesday. The other person was taken to Pella Hospital for treatment and released.
Officials have not released the names of those injured.
