LAKEWOOD, N.J. (AP) - Police say a New Jersey gun range employee is expected to make a full recovery after accidentally shooting himself in the hand.

NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/2iYZ3Wq ) the unidentified man unintentionally shot himself in the hand while removing a firearm from a storage cabinet at the Garden State Pistol Range in Lakewood around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say the bullet entered and exited the man’s left hand. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.



The gun was a rental weapon. Several customers, including two young boys, were at the gun range at the time of the shooting along with at least one other employee.
