SEATTLE (AP) - A judge has found probable cause to proceed with criminal charges against a woman accused of killing a pedestrian in Seattle.
KCPQ-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2iLh5My ) that Treza Hafzalla is accused of hitting and killing a woman at a crosswalk in the Green Lake neighborhood on Sunday before driving away in a SUV.
The victim has not been identified.
Police say Hafzalla admitted to consuming alcohol before striking the woman crossing the street. She said she only had one drink. Hafzalla returned to the scene of the incident about 40 minutes after the crash.
Prosecutors say Hafzalla refused to take a field sobriety test.
Hafzalla is being held on $200,000 bail and is facing vehicular homicide and felony hit and run charges.
