LUCEDALE, Miss. (AP) - A Lucedale woman has died following a crash in Jackson County over the weekend.
Local news outlets report that state Highway Patrol officials say 21-year-old Destinie Chantel Stauter was killed early Sunday in a one-vehicle wreck on Mississippi 613.
Trooper Chase Elkins says Stauter was driving near Tanner Williams Road when she lost control and ran off the side of the road. Elkins says Stauter, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.

Jackson County Deputy Coroner Jason Moody says Stauter died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
