PITTSBURGH (AP) - A man has pleaded guilty to charges in the death of a woman struck and killed by a sport utility vehicle in Pittsburgh last summer.

Twenty-one-year-old Kyle O’Connor pleaded guilty Monday to involuntary manslaughter, accidents involving death or personal injury-failure to stop and careless driving resulting in unintentional death. He is scheduled for sentencing May 18.

Police said 26-year-old Jessica McChesney died of blunt force trauma after the June 26 crash in the Bloomfield neighborhood. Investigators said they found the defendant’s damaged SUV behind his apartment building after talking to a witness.
