STONEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Sheriff’s deputies in Rockingham County are investigating the shooting death of a man at his home in Stoneville.

The sheriff’s office told local media the shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. Sunday.

The victim was 24-year-old David Wayne Bullins of Stoneville.

Sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Suthard said Bullins was not alone at his house when he was shot. Investigators are looking for a man who drove away in a dark pickup truck.

The sheriff’s office said investigators do not think the shooting was random.
