BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Police say a 14-year-old girl has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a Blytheville man.

Police Capt. Scott Adams told reporters the girl was arraigned Tuesday and a judge found probable cause for the charges and set her bond at $100,000.

The girl’s name hasn’t been released.

Adams says the teen is charged in the Sunday stabbing of 38-year-old Bennie Holliman at a trailer park on the city’s south side. Holliman was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Adams said witnesses told investigators that Holliman and the girl had argued and fought before the girl stabbed him and ran away. The girl surrendered to police on Monday.
