MOSS POINT, Miss. (AP) - A Moss Point man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left one person injured.

The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/2kRDWqh) reports Pascagoula police said Monday that 35-year-old Cisrow Wallace Lewis was charged with aggravated assault.

Police spokesman Lt. Doug Adams says the arrest happened after officers responded to a report of a shooting Sunday night.

Police say Lewis told arriving officers that he and the victim had gotten into an argument earlier over some property in Moss Point. Adams says the argument escalated and the two men ended up in Pascagoula.

Adams says the fight turned physical and at some point, Lewis says his gun accidentally discharged and the victim was shot in the leg.

The case remains under investigation.

It’s unclear if Lewis has an attorney.
