BALTIMORE (AP) - A viewing has been scheduled for the six children who lost their lives in a Baltimore house fire earlier this month.

In a Facebook post Monday, the children’s mother, Katie Malone, said the public may pay their respects from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Hubbard Funeral Home in Catonsville.

The Jan. 12 fire killed six of Malone’s nine children, including 11-year-old Bridgette; 10-year-old Amelia; 3-year-old twins Amanda and Zoe; 2-year-old Billy; and nearly 9-month-old Daniel.

Their three siblings and mother escaped and have since been released from the hospital.

Fire department spokesman Blair Adams says the cause remains under investigation.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to BARCS in honor of Amelia and the National Endowment for the Arts in honor of Bridgette.
