KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - Authorities believe an argument over a firearm led to a fatal shooting in Klamath Falls.

The Herald and News reports (https://is.gd/KIEd2Y ) that 25-year-old Matthew Balais was killed Sunday while arguing with a 22-year-old woman about a weapon.

Kassandra Lorrenne appeared Tuesday on charges of first-degree manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and unlawful use of a weapon and was ordered held on $200,000 bail in connection to the incident.

Police say the couple had been in a verbal argument before the dispute became violent and Balais was shot.
