DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover Police say three people, including a 13-year-old boy, have been arrested in a carjacking.

The department said in a news release that the carjacking took place early Thursday on Simon Circle. Officers say a man was parked with his car’s engine running when three people with handguns demanded he get out of the car.

Police say the man got out and the three suspects drove off.

Investigators say the car later crashed in Chester, Pennsylvania, and all three suspects were arrested.

Eighteen-year-old Joseph Carter, 19-year-old Isaiah Harber and the 13-year-old are awaiting extradition to Delaware. They face charges of carjacking and other offenses.
