GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Greenville County sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a man was found shot to death on a road.

Deputies were called shortly after 12 a.m. Thursday and found the victim in the road.

The coroner’s office says the victim was 25-year-old Jeremi Gray of Greenville.

Investigators said Gray was involved in an altercation that led to the shooting. There was no immediate work on what led to the dispute.

No arrests have been made.

An autopsy was planned Thursday.
