KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - Police say a Klamath Falls man threatened his girlfriend with a sword on Christmas Eve.

The Herald and News reports (https://bit.ly/2hXX4FZ ) that 35-year-old Sean Hart was arrested after a domestic dispute on Dec. 24. According to a report from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office, the woman told police that Har grabbed her by the shoulders, spit in her face and hit her before threatening her with a three-foot sword.

Hart has pleaded not guilty to charges of unlawful use of a weapon, assault, menacing and harassment. His next court date is schedule for Jan. 10.

He faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
