JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say a North Dakota hunter who was reported missing has been found safe at home.

Stutsman County sheriff’s deputies were contacted Monday morning about a hunter who had gone missing Sunday evening.

But Sheriff Chad Kaiser (KY’-zer) says officials were notified that he made it home safely around 2 p.m. Monday.

Kaiser tells KQDJ-AM ( ) it’s not known if the man got a ride or walked home to Jamestown.

The sheriff says more information will be released when the investigation is complete.
