WHITEHALL, Ohio (AP) - Police are investigating after the body of a 23-year-old man was discovered in the backyard of a home in central Ohio over the weekend.

Police in Whitehall say the body of Ryan Przeslica was found Sunday morning behind a home in the suburban Columbus city. It’s unclear how Przeslica’s body came to be at that location, but investigators say it appears that it had been there for several hours.

The victim’s last known address was in Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH’-guh) County. Police say Przeslica lived in Columbus’ University District last year although he was known to be recently homeless.

A cause of death for Przeslica has yet to be determined. Anyone with information regarding his death is asked to call the Whitehall Police Department.
