PHOENIX (AP) - Three people are in custody and facing murder charges after police say a dead body was found inside an SUV in west Phoenix.

Bond was set at $1 million apiece for 26-year-old Anthony Elias Thomas, 35-year-old Luis Carlos Urias and 33-year-old Crystal Amy Allison after their initial court appearances Monday.

None of them have lawyers yet.

Phoenix police say all three suspects are jailed on suspicion of first-degree murder, armed robbery and possession of dangerous drugs for sale.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired late Friday night and found 38-year-old Roberto Perez inside in a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say it appears the victim was robbed during a drug deal before the fatal shooting.
